JEAN HAYNES RESERVE

Public BBQ

The Train Park lives up to its local nickname with an impressive playground setup that prioritizes safety alongside fun. The entire play area sits within a 1.5-metre pool-style fence with child-proof gate latches, making it secure enough for parents with crawlers and toddlers. The playground features two distinct play zones with new equipment that appeals to various age groups. Families report their kids climbing over every surface and wearing themselves out with games of tiggy and hide and seek. The space works well for picnics, with decent shade coverage keeping the area comfortable. Parking is adequate though not exceptional. Regular visitors include locals who discovered it during school drop-offs and haven't looked back since.
